Hello
I'm a Gen X founder-operator and writer. Twenty-five years inside Microsoft and Amazon, then displaced by ageism and the same wave of AI I now happen to be very good with. I rebuilt as a one-person company running a portfolio of media and publishing projects with Claude as my integrated executive partner, and the work I'm doing now is the most generative run of my life—a sentence I did not expect to write at fifty-six.
What you'll find here: writing on hinge moments in politics, technology, and culture; near-future scenarios; a novel-in-progress called The Shattered World Series; and the projects I've built or co-built along the way. Kintsugi as method, defiant joy as resistance, a small group changing the course of history.
Work
These started as side projects that didn't know they were supposed to stay small. They're related—variations on paying close attention to what's happening in politics, technology, and culture, and trying to make something useful from it—but they're also genuinely their own things. I run them all because I can't seem to stop.
Founder & CEO
A serious publication on therapeutic peptides—Dutch Uncle voice, careful sourcing, no hype. Written for people who want to actually understand what they're considering putting in their body.
VisitChief Operating Officer
Progressive political media with Cliff Schecter—the YouTube channel @Cliffs_Edge, the Blue Letter newsletter, the podcasts—aimed at organizing against the predator class. I'm the operational spine; Cliff is the on-camera voice.
VisitWriter & Publisher
My personal Substack. Essays on hinge moments in politics, technology, and culture; near-future scenarios; speculative fiction; a novel-in-progress called The Shattered World Series; and memoir when the mood strikes.

Co-Host
A podcast I co-host with Dana DuBois, my best friend of 47 years. Generational politics, current events, the felt experience of being Gen X right now. Mostly an excuse to keep showing up for each other.
VisitProprietor
A T-shirt and merch shop for rebels, ranters, and smartasses—funny, political, occasionally vulgar, and proudly left-leaning. Wearable resistance, including a collection inspired by The Shattered World Series. Yes, the name is one word.
VisitMaker
A phone app that tells you whether the moon is currently void of course. For astrologers, witches, and anyone else who has learned the hard way not to schedule important things during a void Moon. Quiet, contemplative, and very specific in what it does.
VisitFounder
Futuretypes—a personality-archetype quiz built on literary archetypes rather than pop psychology. Result pages written in Margaret-Atwood-meets-Mary-Oliver mode, which is a sentence I will defend in court.
VisitSubject & Author
A documentary and a companion book about building Peptidings with Claude—what it actually looks like, week by week, to run a serious publication with an AI as your integrated executive partner. In production. The book is half-drafted.

Someone told me I warn about antisemitism because I'm paid to. That's not an argument—it's the oldest trope there is, and it's how the wedge goes in.

A conversation with Dr. Debra Shushan about Zionism, antisemitism, and refusing to lose the nuance.
